| The Tipton County Economic Development
Corporation (TCEDC) was founded in June of 1986 by a
group of citizens and business owners to lead
business development efforts and to help foster an environment
for economic growth in Tipton County. Today the TCEDC
is comprised of 26 directors and 5 emeritus directors. Office staff consists of an Executive Director and one Administrative Assistant.
TCEDC is a
private not-for-profit corporation that aggressively
serves the expansion and retention needs of area businesses
while supporting others who are considering expansion
or relocation into the Tipton County area. TCEDC is
funded through service contracts with Tipton County,
the City of Tipton, Tipton Hospital,
and through private
investments. Monthly board meetings are open to the public (click meeting schedule for date / time / location).
