Tipton County EDC / Chamber Golf Invitational

Our 14th Annual EDC / Chamber Golf Invitational was a huge success thanks to all who participated this year. TDS TELECOM served as our first ever Super Sponsor. Thirty-six teams registered and played in the 2007 tournament. The top four winning teams are pictured below.

A Florida scramble format, the Golf Invitational is held annually the third Friday in July at the Tipton Municipal Golf Course, an 18-hole course located on the southwest side of Tipton.  For additional information on the tournament or to be added to our mailing list for future outings, email your request to degillam@tds.net.

EARLY REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED. Tee time is 12 noon.  Registration begins at 10 AM, a catered lunch is served at the shelter house beginning at 11 AM. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND JOIN US ON THE GREENS FOR OUR 15TH ANNUAL GOLF INVITATIONAL FRIDAY, JULY 19, 2008 AT THE TIPTON MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE!

Business professionals participate by sponsoring teams and by serving as a super sponsor, corporate and/or tee sponsors.  Sponsors receive a large sign posted on the course, name recognition as an official sponsor in our program distributed to all who participate.  Participants play for a total of $1,000 in merchandise from the Tipton Pro Shop as well as the camaraderie.
