Tipton County is rich in industrial diversity, which argues well for its future economic health.   It is home to two thriving industrial park areas - Tipton County Industrial Park and Northgate Business Center.

Infrastructure improvements, including road and sewer extensions, are nearing completion at Northgate Business Center. Companies located at Northgate include Böttcher America Corporation, a German based manufacturer of printing press rollers; and Midwest Sheets, LLC, a division of Temple-Inland Container Corporation.  Recently Maddox Excavating, LLC and Tipton Precast, LLC constructed facilities at Northgate. In 2006, Tipton Precast was featured in the April 2007 edition of Concrete Products magazine. Click here to view the article "Productive Premiere".

Pioneer, North American Seed Division built its office and first corn production plant on the west edge of Tipton in 1938, and continues to operate at this location.  Pioneer also operates a corn and wheat research facility in the town of Windfall.  Co-Alliance, LLP (formerly Midland IMPACT) is the county's locally operated farming cooperative.  Doing business in Tipton since 1928, Co-Alliance is one of the largest ag businesses in the area serving Tipton and eight surrounding counties.  Other ag-related companies who call Tipton County home include:  Adler Seeds, Campbell  Seed, Cargill Ag Horizons, DEKALB Genetics Corporation (Monsanto), Favored Grain, Ray Bros. & Noble Canning Co., Inc., and several privately owned grain operators.
